eGov Interest Group telecon today!

Hi everyone,

I've recently rejoined the W3C Team and, among other things, am working
with this group's Team Contact, Sandro, in supporting eGov activities.

Jeanne has been swamped with work in the last few days and so hasn't
been able to get an agenda out to the list so I'm going to break with
protocol a little by sending this reminder. Yes - there will be a call
today as planned - it's the third Tuesday of the month!. Dial in details
are at the end of this mail, previous minutes are on the wiki [1].

Jeanne will set the agenda but I'm sure that one item will be planning
for the face to face meeting at TPAC [2] on 31st October and 1st November.

We have 2 full days that will allow us to explore the many threads that
come together under the heading of 'eGov'. If you're able to join us in
Santa Clara it's important that you register *this week* at [3]. TPAC is
a terrific opportunity to meet people working across different sectors
who have an interest in eGov but who are not in the IG itself (there are
currently 17 people that have requested to join the meeting as
observers). I know Jeanne is busy corralling a range of government
people to attend too!

So in summary:
- please join us on the call today;
- please register for TPAC this week so we can have a really productive
meeting in 2 weeks' time.
