Re: ICANN

Hi Cheryl,

I read your bio on the IcannWiki. Seems like you have a intriguing hand in all things Australian. I've never been there but would like to someday go! I have an idea for configuring the web here in the States on a more reasonably accountable paradigm, but since I have no knowledge of the way government works over in Australia, I'm not sure I can be of much help in doing the same for .au. Are you at all familiar with the way things are organized here in American government?

Cheers,

Michael A. Norton

Similarly, not staff, but from 2000-2007 was Policy Counsel at largest Registry, VeriSign, and participated in quarterly meetings, tri-partite negotiations of each contract renewal and Lou negotiation between USGvt, ICANN and VRSN.
