Concerning events, did you have a look at [1] already?

Well, usually via public-lod [2] but Richard, who has taken lead on further
SCOVO development (and just recently was at the UK stats workshop discussing
SCOVO/SDMX future) may be better able to tell you about where and how to
contemplate on its usage. In any case, for a start I'd recommend to read
[3].
