Hi, without changing the subject, I want to introduce LeXML [1], a brazilian web portal headed by the Senate with an initial collection of 1.2 million documents (laws, case laws, articles). Based on the Italian "Norme in Rete (NIR)" Project [2] and on the United Nations "Akoma Ntoso" Project [3] this initiative use XML to organize, structure the documents and to offer a powerful search engine to find more accurate results. This project was presented at the Worl e-Parliament Conference 2008 [4] and got the Best Project of the Year Award at CONIP e-Gov Conference 2009. Unfortunately, the best explanation about this application is an infographic [5] in Portuguese only. But, one-to-one contact with the authors can be arranged later just in case somebody is interested in more details.
