Some comments...

 

eGovernment 

activities of electronic government (or e-government, e-gov, digital
government, online government or, in a certain context, transformational
government) refers to the use of internet technology as a platform for
exchanging information, providing services and transacting with citizens


 

Two issues:

a) the definition covers only "internet technologies"

b) it covers only the G2C transactions and not G2G (back office).

 

There are several broader definitions available from UN, OECD, EU, why
not reusing one?

 

 

Government to Government (G2G) 

online interaction between and among Government organisations,
departments, and authorities. 
G2G systems generally come in one of two types: 

*         Internal facing - between Government departments, agencies,
organizations and authorities within one country

*         External facing - between the IT systems of multiple
Governments - an example is the integration aspect of the Schengen
Information System (SIS), developed to meet the requirements of the
Schengen Agreement.

The "external facing" is usually called cross-boarder egovernment
services and Pan-European eGovernment Services (PEGS) in the EU context.
I haven't seen the term "internal facing" in the way defined here.

 

interoperability 

the ability of software systems that may be running under different
operating systems and hardware to effectively exchange information; 

 

Not only if I may say (e.g. technical, semantic, organizational
interoperability). Again I would suggest reusing one of the "standard"
definitions available.

 

 

Missing term:

eParticipation
