John Sheridan Appointed co-Chair of eGovernment Interest Group

Dear all,

I'm forwarding the announcement that was just sent to the Advisory  
Committee. I'm stepping down as co-Chair and John Sheridan is taking  
the co-Chair position. I remain as Team contact for the Group and  
participating as usual.

We are excites about this change, expect is for good and that the  
Group will better move forward to accomplish it's goals.

Dear Advisory Committee Representatives and Chairs,

I am pleased to appoint John Sheridan (The [UK] National Archives) as
co-Chair of the eGovernment Interest Group. Kevin Novak (AIA) will
continue as the other co-Chair. Jose M. Alonso remains as Team Contact.

John is Head of e-Services at the UK National Archives and UK Office
of Public Sector Information (OPSI).  We are very pleased to have him
and Kevin contribute to the development of eGovernment activities
in the W3C through their leadership of this group.
