Hi Kjetil, I put the "meeting debrief" agendum there for this purpose, but I can give you my personal take on a meeting summary. * Scope is huge, need to start simple and show the main issues, examples, and (if enough time) how to address them * We discussed what done so far and talked about several real world examples in which the attendants were involved * Started to characterize the Group's goal by scoping the main topic areas from there; we ended with 12 so far (for me, main outcome of the meeting): + Technicolor: http://www.w3.org/2008/10/eGov_flipchart_final.jpg + B&W: http://www.w3.org/2008/10/24-egov-minutes#topics * Some people volunteered to take action to develop areas further and find examples (use cases) + see open actions: http://www.w3.org/2007/eGov/IG/track/actions/open (I plan to model every area as a product in tracker asap) * eGov IG to act as channel for Gov<->W3C Groups + finding what's missing in W3C specs + proposing new technical areas if needed + having W3C speaking better in government terms + engaging more government people and end users * Next steps: + Validate with the Group the areas, see if there's something missing (I already mentioned "multi-channel delivery") + Match existing use cases to the topic areas * use cases: http://www.w3.org/2007/eGov/IG/wiki/Use_Cases + Do this before end of November + Publish a first Working Draft before Christmas I hope I'm not missing anything important... Best, Jose.
