@rob-metalinkage good point. I've tried to add a last scoping sentence on the issue to clarify that PROF is only one element of the discussion. In fact I think that what is needed from PROF is only a clarification on what is the level where prof:inheritedFrom applies. Then we could decide whether the more general group take on it would be the same, or something more general, or no stance at all. The problem is that as per my comment at https://github.com/w3c/dxwg/issues/857#issuecomment-600533401 when looking at the detail there is a lack of consistency on the PROF approach.
