@RubenVerborgh ok I think it's a matter of scoping: this issue is about "our" data profiles, which was not chiefly focusing on the IETF one. As you voiced objections here I thought it was about the DXWG data profiles. But if the points were about the wider IETF profiles, then we're good. I may still be puzzled about what the IETF profiles cover (it sounds like it's about everything that can be called 'profile', which seems a bit wide) but obviously that's for another github issue :-)
