@rob-metalinkage do you have examples about such cases?
As much as I'm ready to accept the case for #978 I have doubts about the requirement here, which is a bit the converse case. This issue here is about documents possibly specifying several profiles at the same time? I can accept that this may exist, but I would immediately flag this as sub-optimal practice as part of our guidance/recommendation, as it would force implementers of a profile to ingest stuff that they don't have necessarily to be aware of (i.e. the specs of other profiles).
