So, @tombaker , the challenge is that much of what was in my list above was from a different era, and that we need a development that looks forward to the increased use of profiles that are likely to have a certain amount of rigour based on set membership etc. If we had this approach in our minds at the start, things like licenses wouldn't be as difficult to work with as they currently are.
