@dr-shorthair FOAF Agent is defined as "_An agent (eg. person, group, software or **physical artifact**)_" (my emphasis) so it can include a piece of equipment as a physical artifact. @nicholascar Again, the definition of FOAF Agent includes "software", so I don't see the fundamental difference between FOAF and PROV Agents. Just saying I don't think there is a clear case that one of them is broader or narrower than the other. But maybe this is not a useful discussion.
