I'm sorry to hear you won't be able to join us on Friday. You will be
missed!

I'm afraid that, given how close we are to Friday and how many people
(Americans) are on leave and may not see emails changing the plans, it
wouldn't be good to change the voting methodology so close to the vote
itself.

Everyone can, of course, express concerns by email — but the vote will be
taken by people on the call, who will take note of any concerns raised.
