Concerning issue https://www.w3.org/2013/dwbp/track/issues/190 I would not restrict DQV to consider only quality of the intrinsic dimensions of data because we have already included extrinsic examples that are fully in scope of DQV. For example: - we have considered the accessibility of a dataset as quality dimension which is an extrinsic property of data; - we have modelled the conformity of a dataset's metadata to a certain standard / profile ( see example 5.8 - Express the conformance of a dataset's metadata with a standard [1]) ; I personally think that by modelling user annotations, conformity to standards, the quality policies, and metrics for quality dimensions mentioned in ISO and zaveri [2], as we have already agreed on, we are done. Zaveri et al. have already revised a set of relevant dimensions that ranges from intrinsic to extrinsic and including all the dimensions are worth to be included. In theory, also the quality of the schema/ ontologies on which a dataset relies can be encoded in terms of metrics associated to the dataset. (For example, in zaveri the ontology hijacking is included as a measure of consistency ). Besides, the DQV is open to be extended with further user defined dimensions, if that is really necessary. I guess we can discuss in today call if there are any aspects dear to the group members that I am overlooking..
