Hi Antoine, Thanks again for your comments! As I said in the other message, maybe the diagrams are vey complex to be >> presented to the reader of the BP document, but on the other hand they may >> help our discussion. If the diagram doesn't help, then we don't need to use >> it. >> To better illustrate the ideas about metadata, I think that this diagram >> should be divided in two: one for the main concepts (similar to the one of >> [1]) and other one just for the metadata hierarchy. >> > > > I agree with the idea, but as already said and repeated several times now > I think the diagram of [1] is not right, and no diagram will ever work as > well as the text you/Andrea and others have put in the mails. ok... Let's stay with the textual description and let's forget the diagram :) I can use the diagrams just for my own understanding. > > > Answering your question about the 'general metadata': this metadata is >> similar to the one that describes a dataset in DCAT. >> > > > This cannot be the case! I wanted to say that "this metadata is similar to the one that describes a dataset in DCAT". I agree with you that they are not equivalent and DCAT metadata encompasses other boxes. The general metadata should provide information like title, description, language and keyword. This is just an initial idea that has to be improved. kind regrads, Bernadette > Kind regards, > > Antoine > > > >> [1] https://www.w3.org/2013/dwbp/wiki/Best_practices_guidelines >> >> >> 2014-07-11 11:06 GMT-03:00 Antoine Isaac <aisaac@few.vu.nl <mailto: >> aisaac@few.vu.nl>>: >> >> >> Dear all, >> >> Thanks for the very interesting discussion. >> I'm afraid some of it may be too demanding on us (workload-wise) and >> our readers though. >> >> I mean, pointing to DCAT and voiD is useful.
