>on the usage of Flash at large on the Web. In this respect, I believe that EPUB3 is very much relevant (even if, truthfully, Digital Publishing goes beyond EPUB3). I understand Ivan, but we are not talking about a sort of Epub4 or so, a dpub can be used offline or online, and have very different features than a epub every version. There are many different techinques and cheats for play a swf in a epub, but this is not our problem. HTML5 can do without problems... Another problem is that here also we are falling in "screen reader accessibility". Accessibility is for all, not just for screen readers. There are some accessible techinques that can help all easily used for universal accessibility, and Flash can help... so why exclude a priori? Because Jobs said? Many of the techiques exposed at http://juicystudio.com/article/cognitive-impairment.php can be stick on Flash also. They are very useful, and are simple to do also with Flash. So, why exclude Flash? I repeat, i am not a fan, but i don't understand where is a real problem with a well builded Flash movie. Livio
