DIWG Response
============

DIWG agrees with this comment to the extent that it illustrates the need for functions to be able to update the delivery context.

CC/PP is the transport mechanism for delivery context and should form the basis for its transmission. DIWG does not believe that developing an alternative mechanism is appropriate. However, DIWG recognises that the storage of delivery context is a matter of implementation for any system that supports it, be it client or server based.

To support the ability to update delivery context, DIWG has added the " setProperty" function to those supported by the Full profile of DISelect. The function is described in the new XPath function document that will be published along with the DISelect specification at the second last call.
