One requirement in educational publishing for print is for related equations to align on their equal signs. This is tricky because there is no built-in syntax in HTML5 or, as far as i am aware, MathML, to indicate that two completely separate equations separated by other elements must align on, say, the equal sign (or is there and i am just insufficiently familiar with MathML standard?). To accomplish this, we need a syntax to indicate which equations are related to each other. Does anyone see a need for this? Ben
