Re: NIC.br - Brazilian Network Information Center has nominated Vagner Diniz to Digital Publishing Interest Group

Hi Tzviya,

thanks for the welcome message.
We both, Vagner and Selma, work for NIC.br, the executive arm of the
Internet Steering Committee in Brazil (CGI). CGI is the Internet
Governance Body and NIC.br, on its behalf, runs many project such as
domain name registration, IP assignment and Internet exchange points.
I'm the head of one of its 4 study centers (Web Technologies Study
Center) and Selma has expertise in Digital Marketing.
As a matter of fact we are not digital publishing experts, but we are
very much interested in the future of digital publishing because we have
strong work on Web Acessibility standards and Data on the Web. Last
month part of our team concluded the work as editors of the W3C Data on
the Web Best Practices Working Group [1], which is now a Proposed
Recommendation. And for many years we have been providing government
with guidelines for public policies in Web Accessibility.

We hope to learn a lot with you all and offer our contribution as much
as we engage in the process.

Thanks,

Vagner and Selma
