Hi, SVG is a true component of digital publishing and the SVG group has concerns with accessibility. Best, Luc -----Message d'origine----- De : Deborah Kaplan [mailto:dkaplan@safaribooksonline.com] Envoyé : lundi 7 juillet 2014 17:40 À : W3C Digital Publishing IG Objet : accessibility task force current topics This is the list of topics the accessibility task force will be discussing during and after the break. Please feel free to contribute additions/changes. * Conversation with PF on structural semantics. AI: Thierry will try to set up a meeting with the PF WG, possibly with or without Markus, Ivan, and Charles who are out until August. Ivan wants to stress that this is an important discussion (looking at the role attribute in general, and also looking at the interplay between PF & HTML 5). * Larger question: learning what the larger group is doing re: accessibility, and doing a gap analysis of what they are not covering, of where we could help with focus and context. * Are the many WAI documents applicable to DPUB? Another gap analysis: are there missing documents, missing individual guidelines, changes we'd suggest, etc. Make sure we coordinate with Shawn Henry AI: Deborah will do. * Let's make sure we compile a reading list of all W3C standards and guidelines we think everyone on the A11y TF should have at least some familiarity with. * Should we have some concern with SVG accessibility as far as its place in dpubs? -Deborah
