Some nice resources on unicode and writing systems

Different writing systems came up at the F2F earlier this week. Two resources that you guys may find interesting and useful (even if it does not really relate to the day-to-day work of the IG):

- http://rishida.net/docs/unicode-tutorial/ : Introduction to Writing Systems and Unicode (makes you feel happy that the Latin typesetting is so simple:-)

- http://rishida.net/scripts/featurelist/ : Script features by language

Click on the small icons alongside the language name to go to the script-specific pages (eg. http://rishida.net/scripts/samples/arabic), and click on the orange text on the right to get feature descriptions and examples.

Both are from Richard Ishida, our Internationalization expert.

enjoy!
