This in an important feature, not a flaw. The answer is “we don’t have a
mutual trust model”, and the client should inform the user.

Avoiding this a legitimate answer means we’d have to resort to a global
trust model, which is not only risky, but I believe infeasible. Like
Arrow’s Theorem is for voting, there is no perfect decentralization — one
criteria will interfere with meeting a different one.

We have to be willing to accept sometimes the answer is “untrusted”, and
stop.
