W3C Formal Objections: When Powerful Corporations Play Both Sides

Thank you Manu for describing this critical and frustrating situation, as w=
ell as standing up to ensure a transparent community process.

Allowing W3C members, who have not been participating in the W3C Decentrali=
zed Identifier (DID) Working Group for the full period of 2 years, to decid=
e and nudge a decision that is clearly driven by both misinformation and se=
lf interest puts not only the WGs work at risk, but also the future of dece=
ntralized identity, as well as the reputation of W3C as an organization.
