+1 from us on removing it. I see great uses for this, but would prefer to leave it as an extension for later.

I was wrong, there wasn't a single implementation of the alsoKnownAs feature.
We will have to remove that from the specification.

PROPOSAL: Remove the alsoKnownAs feature from the DID Core specification and
notify the ActivityPub community of its removal.
