Second Additional DID WG Meeting

Greetings DID WG Participants,


We are holding a series of additional calls to prepare for our face to face
meeting in Amsterdam, January 29-31.
You should have already received an email with the dates, times, and webex
connection information. [1]
If you did not receive this email, please reach out to Ivan or to either of
the chairs.

The second additional call is scheduled for Friday, January 17, 2020 at 1
PM EST. We will use the call to continue our conversation around the topic
of the abstract data model, JSON/JSON-LD, etc. The first meeting, we
discussed concerns and agreed on a list of them. Our focus for this meeting
will be to identify what points of disagreement we have and what questions
still remain. We do not plan to hold another call on the abstract data
model topic.
The chairs will then use this information to plan our face to face time,
where we hope to address these issues.

It might be helpful to review both the JSON-LD syntax in the specification
and the JSON-only syntax proposal in PR #146 [2].

There is one additional call planned, Wednesday of next week at 1 PM EST.
The topics for the next call will move to a discussion of DID Document
metadata and/or DID URL matrix parameters.

without your input and encourage you to attend these additional meetings as
your schedules permit.
