Seeking Co-Chair and Co-Editors – Workload Growing Beyond Manageable

Hi Everyone,

As Chair of the Universal DID Native Addressing CG, I want to be
transparent: the volume of work we’re facing has grown significantly, and
it’s becoming unmanageable for a single chair to handle effectively.

To keep our momentum going and ensure the group’s work progresses smoothly,
I am inviting interested participants to step forward
as Co-Chair and Co-Editors.

Co-Chair responsibilities would include:

Helping organize meetings, agendas, and discussions

Assisting with consensus-building and liaison with other groups

Sharing administrative and leadership duties

Co-Editors responsibilities would include:

Helping draft, review, and refine technical content

Managing contributions from the group

Ensuring clarity and coherence across our deliverables

No prior W3C leadership experience is required — just a genuine commitment
to collaborate constructively and participate regularly.

I strongly encourage candidates from under-represented groups or different
technical backgrounds to express interest.

If you are interested (or wish to nominate someone), please reply to this
email by 20 April 2026 with a brief statement of interest and relevant
experience. I will then facilitate a short discussion and consensus call
among the CG to confirm appointments.

Thank you all for your continued engagement. I’m looking forward to sharing
the load and moving forward together.

Best regards,

Amir Hameed Mir
