Hi all I'd like to introduce another community lead activities in Japan. The 2nd Linked Open Data Challenge [1] is a event series of hackathon, ideathon and to develop LOD data resource, application and scheme for installation. The organizing committee consists of individuals who belongs to *linkeddata.jp [2] : a grass-rooted LOD/ semweb engineers community *Linked Open Data Initiative [3] : Non profit organization promoting LOD, open data, linked data *Advanced web application laboratory at Keio Institute of SFC I and Keio university have supported such communities. Cooperation among developers, universities/ research institutes and firms has lead to open data activities be popular in Japan. I'd like to share such cases with this community to build robust scheme to raise sustainable activities lead by developers.
