UA sniffing is a *disaster*. And some UAs want to run consistently on both desktop and mobile devices. There isn't a proper way to sniff for mobile browsers and typically there are a bunch of reasons people try to sniff for them. Usually it's because they're weak or want to serve dated content pinned to year X. When a new browser comes across the site, nothing works. This is *not* the model we want.
