Hi DAS WG participants, This is a Call for Consensus to add Web Haptics API as a new tentative deliverable to the Devices and Sensors Working Group Charter as part of the upcoming rechartering cycle. Please review the proposed charter changes [1] and reply to public-device-apis@w3.org by 7 May 2026 if you have any concerns. Silence is considered consent. See also the current charter [2] and the latest charter draft [3] to which these proposed changes are expected to be integrated into. This charter change is made in response to a request by Microsoft to add this deliverable to this Working Group. The proposal will be incubated in the WICG prior to its adoption.
