This is a Call for Consensus (CfC) to publish a First Public Working Draft (FPWD) of the Orientation Sensor specification and a FPWD Note of the Motion Sensors Explainer document. Our charter explicitly includes the Orientation API in the list of deliverables: https://www.w3.org/2016/03/device-sensors-wg-charter.html#deliverables The Orientation Sensor draft is here: https://w3c.github.io/orientation-sensor/ The Motion Sensors Explainer draft is here: https://w3c.github.io/motion-sensors/ A First Public Working Draft is just that, a first draft. Thus we can expect changes and Working Draft publications as the work progresses. Please indicate any objections or concerns on the list, or support (a +1 will do), before 20 April 2017. Thanks regards, Frederick Frederick Hirsch Chair, W3C Devices and Sensors WG (DAS)
