A joint meeting will be held between the Geo and DAS Working Groups at TPAC this week on Tuesday, September 20, in the 16:00 to 17:30 timeslot.  The particulars are provided in the DAS Agenda:  see https://www.w3.org/2009/dap/wiki/LisbonF2F2016#Agenda.  

Among the items that we expect to discuss:

a) Current DeviceOrientation status and issues that have been marked as V.Next - https://github.com/w3c/deviceorientation/issues.  
b) Geofencing status.  Spec is currently abandoned - no major browser vendors have planst to implement.  Can it be considered in DAS context?  https://github.com/w3c/geofencing-api.

c) Recasting Geolocation in Generic Sensor framework.
