Hi, Some time ago I got an action to investigate the implementation status of the HTML Media Capture spec [1]. The spec is considered stable (at CR since Sep 2014), and the test suite is complete and approved. The group is aware of one major shipping implementation in Chrome for Android. We're stuck at CR without another implementation. Here's an update from Mozilla [2]. (Somewhat related, recently there was also renewed interest to work on a new feature, see [3].)
