Clearly, mitigation strategy suggestions against fingerprinting belongs in non-normative notes. I'm wary to suggest here anything that could be a broader fit than just sensors (and the kind of monitoring you suggest equally applies to e.g. network access, imho). I'd also prefer deferring to @npdoty's [fingerprinting doc](https://w3c.github.io/fingerprinting-guidance/) or another similar document targeted at implementors.
