Hi... I'm new to this group so I thought I'd do a brief intro. I've recently joined Samsung Research America (most recently at Intel before that), and one of the hats I'll be wearing relates to software compatibility on Tizen, essentially watching the interface between system and apps (the published API) both over time (releases) and across implementations. Tizen, of course, has a web API as its preferred interface, part of which is a device API set which draws on the W3C device APIs, but also has implementations of things which are not yet covered (or are on this group's "shelved" list). I know there are a number of participants on this group's membership list who have Tizen affiliations, and my former Intel colleague Sakari Possa was I believe very active in the past, but I got told that at least from my company's side there's not anybody very actively participating any longer, and I was asked to start doing so. I have lots of background with API and ABI specs (including years of work on the Linux Standard Base and POSIX), but I'm entirely new to W3C work so please forgive any newbie blunders I may make :) Cheers, Mats Wichmann
