This is a Call for Consensus (CfC) to transition and publish the "Proximity Events" as a Candidate Recommendation (CR) working draft, with no features marked as 'at risk' , with the exit criteria of two independent implementations of all features, and a CR end date of 8 weeks after publication (earliest possible date for PR transition). The editors draft is at https://dvcs.w3.org/hg/dap/raw-file/default/proximity/Overview.html . The Last Call has been completed and the disposition of comments records the comments and resolutions [1]. The WG has not received confirmation for some comments after the request [2] so confirmation will be assumed unless a comment is made during the CfC, which will be treated as a CfC response. Please send all comments regarding this CfC to the public-device-apis@w3.org mail list by 5 September (two weeks). Silence will be considered as agreement with the proposal, but a positive response is preferred (e.g. +1). Assuming no CfC issues and a successful transition request, I would anticipate publication 12 September 2013 and with earliest crEnd at 7 November 2013. regards, Frederick Frederick Hirsch, Nokia Chair, W3C DAP Working Group [1] https://www.w3.org/2006/02/lc-comments-tracker/43696/WD-proximity-20121206/doc/ [2] http://lists.w3.org/Archives/Public/public-device-apis/2013Jan/0021.html
