At the recent March F2F [1] the Device APIs working group (DAP) [2] decided to discontinue work on the Feature Permissions draft [3] as the only immediately obvious relevant use case is for notifications. The current editors Laszlo and John should discuss the next steps for the editors draft, presumably how to move it back into the Notifications working group. Thanks regards, Frederick Frederick Hirsch, Nokia Co-Chair, W3C DAP Working Group [1] http://lists.w3.org/Archives/Public/www-archive/2012Apr/att-0050/minutes-2012-03-20.html#item34 [2] http://www.w3.org/2009/dap/ [3] http://dev.w3.org/2009/dap/perms/FeaturePermissions.html For tracker, this completes ACTION-527
