Same here, I haven't seen any discussion on this in the WG. I have some experience working on DLNA/Upnp and currently working on DLNA for mobile device. I was wondering if we should try to leverage some of that work. I could come up with a proposal if that is fine with this WG.

Since a concern was raised regarding device/service discovery in the charter review, I wonder if anybody in the WG has a plan to contribute about discovery API, and if so, whether there’s preference (in this WG or others).
It would be an important factor in the charter discussion.
