Is there a discussion thread or some document listing the use cases? To my surprise, when talking to Web developers at conferences and meet-ups this was surprisingly (to me) one of the APIs that they most often cited as being of interest. Use cases that I've heard brought up there include: - changing the colour scheme (or possibly black-on-white/white-on-black) based on ambient light - offering to save when the power levels become critically low - using data from local storage without a network refresh if the connection is mobile - not showing any Flash content unless you have 8 4Ghz CPUs and a liquid-oxygen cooling system - choosing the number of fps for a canvas animation based on CPU And several more that I can't recall off the top of my head. I'd be curious to see some of them put to real-world use. -- Robin Berjon - http://berjon.com/
