Hi Doug, You are right, it is not specified yet anywhere, there is just an idea about it and we discussed in WebApps that we shall wait for feedback to my email. Having your feedback I have included the OrientationChangeEvent in the spec as a proposal. It is now available at http://dev.w3.org/2006/waf/widgets-vm/Overview.src.html#orientationchangeevent. It would be also good to have your opinion on splitting the ViewModes spec. BTW: I am still working on the ViewModes document, so some obvious bugs should be handled with patience :) Thanks, Marcin Marcin Hanclik ACCESS Systems Germany GmbH Tel: +49-208-8290-6452 | Fax: +49-208-8290-6465 Mobile: +49-163-8290-646 E-Mail: marcin.hanclik@access-company.com -----Original Message----- From: Doug Turner [mailto:doug.turner@gmail.com] Sent: Monday, August 24, 2009 4:25 PM To: Marcin Hanclik Cc: whatwg@whatwg.org; public-device-apis@w3.org; public-webapps@w3.org Subject: Re: Orientation event in Firefox Hey Marcin, OrientationChangeEvent (as much as any name) sound fine, but I do not see what values you are passing into the event handler? The defition was not in [1] or [2] listed in your post, or in the mediafeatures.html attachment. What am I missing?
