@sandandsnow May I please ask why do you consider the 50lx thing through the lens of fingerprinting risks? The point was to minimise data leak risks ([here](https://blog.lukaszolejnik.com/stealing-sensitive-browser-data-with-the-w3c-ambient-light-sensor-api/), which also sums up your observations, too). The "more general question" about cross-device...
