how is background geolocation still not a thing? Native apps had that for ages... Browsers could simply ask for permission to "use geolocation services in the background", in the same way browsers already ask for the permission if it's in foreground. That dialog could even include a warning on privacy... It's dead simple and it prevents so many geolocation usecases. Please lets get going with this. It's 2020 and I don't want to go back into native app development.
