> Apple/WebKit aren't going to change their minds on this. iOS 12.2 is going to ship with device orientation/motion disabled by default. We need to expedite the process of formalizing an API so that future versions of iOS can ship with it. If we move quickly, maybe even iOS 12.2 could have this implemented. This is by far the most important aspect of this discussion. The exact method that happens FAR is less important than coming up with a solution that can get this fixed for the 1.2.2 full release.
