As mentioned above, I'm not considering much right now beyond what's 
needed to provide a consistant and coherent API across sensors that's 
easy to use, yet allows for high performance, low latency, and limits 
GC cycles.

At this point, we don't even have a list of motion sensors we want to 
expose, we don't have a list of how we want to expose that data, we 
don't have clear requirements derived from the use cases, and we don't
 even have use cases written down, so I really don't have the info to 
answer that question.
