For what it’s worth, we’re very interested in general supporting CSS Module 5 in the spec following #266. We initially just wanted to limit scope to merge that sooner. One thing that would really speed up this proposal in general is: - What would the JSON syntax look like? How would the CSS spec be adapted in a friendly way? - What are some tradeoffs of accepting this? Are there platforms or languages this may pose a problem for (you already mentioned flutter which is a plus, but is there anything else you can think of?) - What parts of the spec should be supported? `from`? `color-mix`? etc. Any that won’t translate to JSON? - Should some of the advice regarding manipulation algorithms be followed from CSS Module 5? Why or why not? Not putting all this on you to answer; just throwing this out to anyone—providing specific syntax to propose and reasoning _why_ can speed up decision-making drastically and is encouraged. -- GitHub Notification of comment by drwpow Please view or discuss this issue at https://github.com/design-tokens/community-group/issues/268#issuecomment-2823171914 using your GitHub account -- Sent via github-notify-ml as configured in https://github.com/w3c/github-notify-ml-config
