I've been thinking about colors for design systems and how difficult it is to find a universal consensus. I made the [Genome Color Tool](https://www.genomecolor.space/) that offers various popular color system 'optimizations' that are aligned to WCAG standards. I'm opinionated on using semantic names ('primary', rather than 'blue') but I believe it is possible that we can define a limited set of popular color systems and systemically generate tints/shades (which will need further definition as contextual definitions 'color-background-button-primary-hover'). In any case, hard to recommend an array of hex values automatically generated from a single base color IMHO. -- GitHub Notification of comment by caoimghgin Please view or discuss this issue at https://github.com/design-tokens/community-group/issues/178#issuecomment-1306455213 using your GitHub account -- Sent via github-notify-ml as configured in https://github.com/w3c/github-notify-ml-config
