> one should be able to define a token base on another token (e.g. button/primary/bg is using core/blue) I would go a step further, and suggest that rather than one color token being an alias for another, that it should be possible to have color tokens that represent a transformation applied to the base color. For example when creating light and dark versions of some base color, a change to the base color should affect the light and dark versions accordingly, rather than having them explicitly defined.
