CFP posted on community :roup website http://www.w3.org/community/declarative3d Attendees: Johannes Behr, Len Daly, Sandy Ressler, Don Brutzman. Regrets: Anita Havele (AR meeting in Geneva), Kristian Sons travel. 1. We discussed TPAC meeting and call for participation. Forwarded CFP to HTML5 working group. We've asked W3C (again) - meeting location Tuesday morning - do we get a breakout session Wednesday or not? - update W3C meeting schedule 2. We discussed preparation of meeting materials for Tuesday/Wednesday. Kristian and Johannes will update SIGGRAPH 2011 slides regarding Declarative 3D group motivation, charter, goals, timeline, coordination with other groups, related technologies, and examples using prototype systems. Don (hopefully with Jacek's help) will prepare slides on Use Cases and Requirements. http://www.w3.org/community/declarative3d/wiki/Use_Cases_and_Requirements 3. Next major event: WWW 2012 conference next April in Lyons France. Suggested overall timeline for group comment: - complete use cases, requirements, technical coordination with other groups by WWW 2012 - discuss the path forward for Declarative 3D group at that meeting Johannes Kristian Sandy and I will be there - anyone else? 4. No teleconference next week during TPAC. If anyone requests it, we can try using Web3D teleconference line during Tuesday's meeting. Safe travels everyone. all the best, Don -- Don Brutzman Naval Postgraduate School, Code USW/Br brutzman@nps.edu Watkins 270 MOVES Institute, Monterey CA 93943-5000 USA +1.831.656.2149 X3D, virtual worlds, underwater robots http://faculty.nps.edu/brutzman
