Dear all, just a short wrap-up of the telco today: - Anita will post a news article about the Siggraph BoF as soon as she has all the material (probably end of the week) - Jacek will add a skeleton for Jerome's use case to the use case section - TPAC2011: We will propose a breakout session. We still have to discuss about the topic. Options: - solely about the Group and it's progress, - the CG and related CG topics (e.g. AR) - a technical aspect of dec3d (e.g. usage of DOM Events in Declarative 3D) We should identify whom we want to address. All in all we should adapt the Siggraph BoF presentation to an audience that is aware of the Web Technologies and barely aware of 3D graphics runtime (apart of those working on the WebGL implementation). Jacek will propose something. In the Siggraph presentation we had just one slide about the common ideas of XML3D and X3DOM. We could go into more detail here and perhaps present some first results until beginning of November. TPAC is an event of W3C for the Working Groups. There is (officially) no W3C support for CGs, thus W3C not provide/rent rooms for CG meetings. Nevertheless, Don and I asked, perhaps... I set up a Doodle to identify who from the Dec3D CG will attend TPAC. Wednesday is Plenary Day where we plan to have a break out session. Upon that we try to identify another 1-2 days for a working meeting (we could additionally invite interested parties from Bay Area / West Coast). Here the link: http://www.doodle.com/tn99tukv4gxrw3tb The registration for TPAC is open: http://www.w3.org/2011/11/TPAC/ Next important steps for TPAC: - Submit breakout session proposal - Who will present what at the breakout session? - Collect more relevant use cases - If we make technical progress: Connect to WGs for discussions / special sessions on specific topics I guess that's mainly it. Please comment or complete if I forgot something.
