XML3D 5.0 specification

Dear Dec3D Community,

we recently published version 5.0 of XML3D. It is a major clean-up of
things we learned within releases 4.0-4.9 since 2012. Moreover, it
includes feedback from the community. For instance, XML3D has support
for the _display_ property. This was suggested by multiple users that
did not agree with the _visible_ attribute. As a consequence of this
originally small feature, it is possible to use functionality such as
jQuery.show, jQuery.hide and jQuery.toggle on all XML3D scene elements [1]:

$("mesh").toggle();

Hence we contribute the specification to the CG:
http://xml3d.org/xml3d/specification/5.0/

We think that the current state of XML3D and the W3C-like specification
(not yet in terms of quality, which is WIP) could be a good basis for
further discussions and to bring the subject back to the agenda.

Best regards,
  Kristian
