The updating of the DDWG's Core Vocabulary is now paused until January, as per a recent decision of the group. This means that we will be using the properties as they stand to guide us in the development of the API. We will be discussing the vocabulary, API and other matters during the Boston face-to-face next week. This message is to alert any public observers to the self-imposed pause. While we will continue to accept suggestions and comments regarding the Core Vocabulary, there will be no changes to the list of properties, unless there are exceptional circumstances (I suppose) such as something that prevents the work on the API to proceed. Reports from next week's face-to-face meetings will be made available as quickly as possible through the usual channels (this list, and the blog). ---Rotan.
